5 Things That Made My Week!!

5 Things That Made My Week

1. Getting my tattoo and falling in love with it. For a long time I have been wanting a tattoo but after winning a voucher for a local tattoo studio, I decided to finally go for it. I got a Daisy chain wrapped around my wrist and it’s beautiful, I can’t stop looking at it.

2. Going to my first job interview and getting the job. I had my job interview on Monday and was so nervous but it went amazingly. As it was my first interview, I did not know what to expect but the woman who interviewed me was great. I found out on the Wednesday that I got the job and I could not be happier. It is only a job for Christmas but it is better than nothing and there is always a chance of getting kept on permanent.

3. My anatomy exam being cancelled. Yes, I do wish that I got it out the way but it was a huge relief to hear the words from my lecturer that it was cancelled. It means I get an extra week to study for it so I will for sure pass.

4. Getting tickets for the Glasgow Christmas Lights switch on. Every year I always I go along with my cousin who gets the tickets but this year I managed to get them for myself. After looking on facebook, I seem to be the only one who did because I do not know anyone else who got them. Its always fun to go see them getting switched on even though it rains nearly every year.

5. Friday night with the squad. My friends and I are now known as the “SQUAD” and on Friday night we had one of the best nights ever at the student union. I love going out with my friends for a drink or two and having such a laugh. We took over the jukebox and played songs from the 80s which was great as we were the only ones singing.

Thank you for reading what made my week this week and I hope you all had a lovely week!!

Halloween Room Decorations

(excuse the mess)

Hello everyone!!

Lately I have been on the hunt for some Halloween decorations to decorate my room with and I found a lot of great things in various places. I found the best places to go to were B&M, poundland/world & Wilkos, they have such a great selection. I decided this year unlike previous years that I really wanted to spice up my room, I do have some more decorations to go up but need to find the time to put them up. The bats and spiders were meant to glow in the dark but you have to have them up close to your eyes to see them glowing so in my opinion they aren't so great.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what decorations I have put up in my room!!

Halloween Themed Clothing Items

Halloween Clothes
Hello everyone!

Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year and I have been browsing lately on the hunt for some Halloween themed t shirts/jumpers to wear and decided to share them. The first one combines my love of both Disney and Halloween; it is a black jumper with a silhouette of Mickey Mouse holding a pumpkin. The next is a short sleeve black top with a glow in the dark skeleton on the front, I got a similar one to this last year from Primark and wear it all year round. The next is definitely the cutest and it is a white top with a cute little cat with bat wings saying, "BOO!” The orange jumper saying, "BOO!" is from ASOS and looks so warm and cosy; I love how bright it is as well. The ghost one makes me chuckle a little bit as it is a spin of the saying "if you've got it, flaunt it" only it is in the theme of Halloween. I threw the socks in because they are super cute and you can never have too many pairs of socks. I am now off to purchase one of two of these despite having no money.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some Halloween themed clothing items. I am hopefully going to be putting some baking posts up sometime in the next week or so as I have this week off college so will have plenty of time to do so!

Top Eight Things I love about Autumn!!

Hello everyone!!

Autumn is such a lovely time of the year. It is the time for relaxing after a summer full of fun and before the rush for Christmas. I have always loved autumn, ever since I can remember it has been my favourite season. The little things about autumn make it so special. There are so many things that I love about autumn and I thought that I would write a list of them.

1. Crunchy leaves
The sensation you feel when you are walking, you step on a leaf, and it crunches puts a huge smile on my face. I do not know why I love it so much but I do and it is rather sad because whenever I see a leaf I walk towards it just to hear the crunch.

2. Autumn colours
I love them. As soon as it hits autumn and the shops start filling with clothes coloured from orange to burgundy to brown, it makes me happy. They are not the brightest of colours but it does not matter because I love them. My favourite for this season is cobalt blue; it is a pretty colour all year round but especially in autumn.

3. Pumpkin spiced lattes from Starbucks.
It is literally autumn in a cup; it is the perfect drink to have in the colder days as it warms you up on the first sip. This drink is probably my all time favourite drink from starbucks.

4. Beanie hats
As I mentioned in my autumn tag I love them and as soon as autumn hits I venture out to buy a new one. I recently bought one from primark to add to my collection and it is rather cosy.

5. Halloween
It is my most favourite thing about autumn so it had to be included. There is something about Halloween that automatically makes me happy. My favourite thing to do in the autumn season is to chill on the sofa watching Halloween films. I went out at the weekend and spent a large amount of money on decorations but it is for Halloween so it is acceptable. I think what makes me love it so much is the dressing up part, I love putting on an act and being something/someone else which explains why I am acting student.

 6. Salted caramel
Whether it is salted caramel hot chocolates or salted caramel sauce, I love it. As soon as I hear that something has salted caramel flavouring I think of autumn. It’s such a weird combination of flavours that work so well together

7. Guy Fawkes Night
An annual celebration filled with bonfires and firework displays. I am not the hugest fan of fireworks as I think they are dangerous but I love the whole atmosphere that surrounds that night. Every year I go to one of my local parks with my friends and the rest of the city to watch the firework display and its great fun.

8. Dark lips
One of the only times that I can actually pull of dark lips and not look terrible is during autumn. I have been wearing them a lot recently and I just think they look great. My favourites of the moment are Makeup Revolution’s “Rebel with Cause” and the Revlon lip butter in “Red Velvet”.

Hope you enjoyed hearing what my top eight things about the autumn season are!
